Explanation / Answer

This is not a difficult problem and there are multiple ways to approach it. Are you familiar with structures and classes? You can create a structure/class for each student.Alternatively, you can create multiple parallel arrays. what is the most complex topic that you have gone over so far?

Regardlessly, this would be the simple outline of program:

-declare varibles

-create ifstream object and try to open input.txt

--if fail to open, error and end program

-while not EOF, read in data

-sum up each total hours per student

-calculate each GPA

-output or make each student report
