I've been stuck on this assignment for quite sometime, basically I have to create a game of Battleship using C++ programming and here are the instructions as follows.

You will two six by six grids on which you will place two adjacent 0's. The computer will also select locations for the alternately guess the location of the 0's on the other grid. The winner will be the side that guesses the first location. We will not use a graphics library for this assignment; rather we will animate ASCII art. Please use multiply C++ concepts in the design and writing of your assignment.

I have no idea how to do this at all and the professor is not providing any information on how to even get started.
