There are about a dozen people on the top management team and the company as a whole employs 700+, all in one loca tion. How will you proceed to get the mission and values of this company updated?

Explanation / Answer

Mission statement of a company should always reflect the short teem goal that the company wants to achieve in the next 5-10 years. This has to be a realistic goal that can be achieved by the company by going the extra mile to achieve it. Mission statement of a company can be obtained as a feedback from the management level leaders as to where they want to see the company in the next 5-10 years , what they want the company to achieve .

Corporate values are something which has to come from the most lower cadre of the company to the highest management cadre . It had to be uniform across all rungs of the management level. It can be finalized by talking to doffediff stakeholders right from the lowest employee level to the CEO or the president of the company.ehat values they attach with the company and what values they aspire to be incorporated in the company.

So as a manager in training , I would try to talk to as much stakeholders as possible and also form a small core team so that the values and mission statement are not biased from an individual standpoint.
