a) Considered purchase is generally made out of necessity. People spend significant amount of time and money in order to take a decision related to considered purchases. So the advertisement of considered purchases should be elaborative and of longer duration which gives a clear picture about the product to the cutomer.

On the impulse purchase is generally made out of desire and not of necesity. People do not spend much time and money making the purchase decision of impuse products. Such advertisement should not be elaborative, rather it should be of short duration but should be catchy enough to get registered in the minds of the consumers.

5) Element of surprise can be used to gain a competitive advantage. Elements of surprise arouses the desire of an individual and thus the customer gets inclined towards buying the product. Thus higher the element of surprise, larger would be the customer base and thus the revenue.
