The proposed fines came after an OSHA investigation found a high rate of back and wrist injuries among the company's 570 power tools-division employees. In particular, employees were found to be suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, a wrist ailment caused by repetitive motion that injures nerve endings in the wrist and hand. OSHA said that in 26 of 50 cases of carpal syndrome, employees underwent surgery.

The Global Power should do the re-investigation and find the exact match of the total reports that the number of issues and accidents occurred as per the OSHA reports. The reports are required to be exactly matched with OSHA, so that the further fines can be equally obtained from Global Power by its employees, also they can get the support for the ailment process and as the injuries occurred is in maximum work related process the entire liability comes under Global Power to provide the equal compensation in form of fine to the injuries.
