Explanation / Answer
Hiring a criminal hacker
(a).A Company hires a perpetrator as consultant to detect and avoid/rectify any breach in their Security System.
From a company's perspective, its' a good and innovating idea in order to secure their system from possible threats.
(b)Yes,I will hire Frank as a Security Consultant, but only when there is a situation of breach in the Security System.
Ethical Considerations:-
(i)It might be against the trivial Rules & Regulations of the Company Poilicy.
(ii)There may be objections of other Security Personnels of the Company in this matter.
(iii)It will be more hindrance when by chance cops are informed about it.
(c)Yep. I have seen the movie Catch Me If You Can starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Frank Abagnale Jr. and Tom Hanks as Carl Hanratty.

(a)After Hearing,it was proven that there actions were not illegal and they were allowed to publicise their findings on the flaw in security system of MBTA.But in a broader view, they have done something that can damage someones's personal properties, thus makin it illegal. The MBTA had claimed that the three MIT students has violated Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA).
(b)Well,in my point of view,it was purely unethical. This is because if you are exposing someone's flaw or possible breach-way in their system, then you are easily making them vulnerable to possible threats and attacks on their systems.
DEFCON:- DEFCON (also written as Defcon) is one of the world's largest annual hacker conventions, held every year in Las Vegas, Nevada. The first DEFCON took place in June 1993.Many of the attendees at DEF CON include computer security professionals, journalists, lawyers, federal government employees, security researchers, and hackers with a general interest in software, computer architecture, phone phreaking, hardware modification, and anything else that can be "cracked."
Yes,I will surely attend this convention,if granted a chance to do so.
