Explanation / Answer

Answer:

Part -1: Social Stratification

In general, it is a kind of social inequality between various groups of people. It had became as a very complex/tedious concept across the world ("").

The dividing up of society into different layers is known as social stratification. If we have a keen look on the society, it's possible for us to observe the inequality in most of the cultures and society. It's also referes to the people who are grouped together on the basis of social classes based on culture, race, birth, economic level, ethinicity, income, eduction, occupation and gender.

We can have a specific look on gender stratification,

There are socities in the globe, who classifies/categorize members, based on their gender. Gender Stratification is nothing but the members group, who had been categorized based on their sex and will have specific rights and privilages, where the other sex, apart from it, might not have to enjoy.

Gender stratification had provided the pathway to gender based violence. This is the reason for women marginaliztion. Gender inequality is still been experienced, in this modern world. Government and social activists are still putting their effort to remove the gender inequality amongs the people ("").

Part -2: Discussion about Social Stratification in chosen area

"" writes that there is a social straification is still being present in the society. Even it's being experience in this modern in one way or the other. The gender based inequality or gender stratification, is one of the major issue.

According to "" , the gender is always been viewed in single dimension of stratification. "" suggest, it's good to have have multi dimensional approach on the gender.

The inequality is between female and male, is still being experienced across the globle. It's all started, when females are considered to the weaker sex than male. According to the research of karl marx, the society which doesn't offers respect and oppotunties to the females, cannot develop a society.

In U.S. the pay for the varies based on gender inequality. Also there's is no guarantee, to have a paid time off for the women who needs to have maternity leave ("").

The above lines shows, still there is existance in gender inequality. Many Social Activists and Feminists, were raising voice against this inequality, to be subsidized. It's important to note that, the one needs get paid, on the basis of work, not to be based on gender. Everyone is aware and know the importance of maternity leave, these kinds of situation are unavoidable. Eventhough are allowed to be on leave, most of the companies in U.S will not pay for the time off.

Part -3: Evidence to claim still the social stratification exist

According to "", social stratification still exist in U.S. the shootout and death occured in U.S, based on racism, is the evidence for the that. The protests that had been took place in various parts of United States, supports the evidence.

Gender inequality is the other issue in U.S, that show still the social stratification exists. According to "", U.S is not in top 20 rank in wage equality among the countries (145 in numbers), across the world.

It's important to note that women earns only two-thirds of mens wage, for the similar work as mens do, which means mens get paid more than women for the same work ("").

According to family and medical leave act 1993, women who are working in the companies with the labour or employee strength of atleast fifty, can enjoy twelve (12) weeks of time off, without any payments.

There are only few companies (roughly around 10- 20 percent) in U.S., which are offering the paid time off for maternity or paternity("") . Gender inequality can be even experienced in U.S. state wise elective office

Part -4: Social Institution

The social institution that has been chosen to focus is religion.

There are different religions around the world. Religions are being split, based on worship of gods. Every religions has their own ways to worship and they tend to follow certain rules and regulations. Some religions uses deity for their relationships, some may not (""). Even people tends to experience discrimination based on discrimination.

Even gender inequality is expereinced in certain religion (""). Muslims had certain norms and culture, they follow, in this, women are allowed to enter the worship place (Mosque), in most of the countries. But they are allowed to enter Medina. In some countries, there are not even allowed to show the faces(""). But these restriction, doesn't to men. Although we can see the inequality, it's good to respect every person religion.

Part- 5: Conclusion.

Only in very few places muslim women are allowed to enter their worship place (Mosque), even in U.S ("").

Hope all the above explantions, will clarifies the attempeted queries.
