Question

Excel 2003 Sumproduct #name error

I am using an old version of excel 2003 and I am having problems getting a formula to work out how many entries exist when users search between 2 dates (dates see below BOLD CELLS)

=SUMPRODUCT(--(forum!B11:B65498=0),--(forum!B11:B65498=K24),--(forum!B11:B65498=L24))

(the references K24 and L24 refer to user inputted dates (in bold). The reference "forum!B11###" refers to the sheet in the same workbook.

02/06/2014

14/08/2014

RANGE OUTSTANDING:

0

The data page page where the dates are listed for example look like this (so the "Range Outstanding" should read "3").

DATE OF TRAVEL QUERY USER INPUTTED DATES

02/06/2014

14/08/2014

Count against total TEB TOTAL: 129 66.67%

RANGE OUTSTANDING:

0

Explanation / Answer

@#%@% Try this

=SUMPRODUCT((forum!B11:B65498>=K24)*(forum!B11:B65498<=L24))

Hope this helps.^_^
