Question

When using Excel in Windows, I frequently use the F4 key to convert a cell reference from... for example... B5 to $B$5.

However, I can't find any shortcut that does the same thing in Excel for the Mac.

In Windows, the steps are like this....

1. using a mouse, click on any cell where you want data to be displayed.

2. type the equals sign

3. now ussing the mouse, click on the cell that will be the source of data

4. Presss F4

5. press enter

6. the first cell will now show the reference to the source cell as a constant, with dollar signs before both the letter and the number, as in $B$5

Sureely there is an equivalent on the Mac, but I've been unable to find it.

Thank you,:-)
