So I have the most current version of Excel on my macbook pro. My excel is opening up all my other workbooks fine, besides one. It goes to the open screen and goes to loads it but it just freezes andd i have to quit excel. It wont load the entire workbook. I have thought it may be corrupted but i can opeen the file on any other computer even mac's. So I don't understand why only this one file will not open on exccel. Its not corrupted it just sits at the open load screen. I have tried saving it under a different file still nothing. Any heelp?

To answer your question, you can try these:

1) Restart your computer.

2) make sure you have installed all Mac OS and Mac Office updatess

3) Fix disc permissions. Run this, and fix the perrmissions.

Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility

4) If still cannot open the file, can you try to use another Mac to open and safe the file, and open it on your Mac?

5) If still fail, can you try to save your file in the Excel Binary format? (.xlsb)
