Need to make an odd formula

I'm wanting to make a formula to keep track of my utility bill cost. I'm sorry if this description gets a little bit complicated, but at least you'll know exactly what it needs. This is basically what I need it to do

Let's say that A6 is the bill reading and B6 is the current reading. B6-A6 is the usage (C6). If C6 is less than or equal to 3, the rate is $7.45. If C6 is greater than 3, you keep the $7,.45 and add $0.6337723 for every 1 that it's over 3 (e.g., 4 is $8.0837723; 5 is $8.7175446; and so on))..

It's hard for me to describe, but if any one of y'all has an idea of how to do something like this, I'll take any advice. Thank you.!!
