Question
Extracting parts of cell contents as text
Hi there
I'd like to extract information from cells and place it in the next cell, also adding text to the end. I have attached an example spreadsheet.
The number of characters before the text to extract will always be the same - 25 characters
The character after the text to extract will always be a ?
The first column is the original text, the second column is the desired result.
To date I've been using a cumbersome text to columns approach then using & formula to combine the names with @members.com so would love a more streamlined solution.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi..
Can't see the expected outcome so not sure....
Assuming the data to "clean-up" start in A1 and you want the result in B1 then enter the followings formula in B1 and copy it down as necessary:
=MID(A1; 26; FIND("?"; A1)-26) & "@members.com"
If this isn't what you expect please provide the same sample as above as a screenshoot (to avoid the *** Email address is removed for privacy ***)
