Explanation / Answer

1. Google only allowed a limited quantity of the product to be released to the public for their use. This allowed Google to minimize their quantity at the same time test out their product in a niche market with a few numbers of tech-savvy people. This approach could've led to the product line being discontinued because Google failed to realize that the product will be used by the everyday consumer and not just the tech-savvy fanboys. This is what I would change, I would first test the product with a selected number of random groups only then think about releasing a project that has such a potential value.

2. Currently, the Google glass seems to have been discontinued from development even though Google recently hired designers from the wearable industry which could be seen as a factor for providing a better design approach to their wearable technology.

3. From Google's new product introduction other companies can realize that the end user for the product may use the product for the most casual functions and therefore, allow only a little amount of utility and not focusing on the design factor also causes a company to lose favour for the product.
