Using DPMO method,
Defects per million opportunities, DPMO = (7/800) * (1,000,000/3) = 2,916.67
At this value of DPMO using excel formula NORMSINV(DPMO/1000000))+1.5,
Sigma level = 4.3
For the characteristic that showed four defects
Total number of defects in this characteristics = 4
Number of samples = 800
Defects per million opportunities, DPMO = (4/800) * (1,000,000) = 5000
