As the number of individuals who have personal computers (PCs) increases, the number of threats against the security of personal information stored on those PCs has also risen - exponentially. However, most computer users remain ignorant about the types of security breaches that can occur. More importantly, a majority of computer users do not understand how others capitalize upon vulnerabilities to their systems. In your opinion, why are most computer users still ignorant about the threats posed to their computers / systems?

Almost every computer users now a days still ignore the threats in their laptops and computers why because the computer security is not really consider as a technological problem.

Even if we have anti virus or some other softwares which help us to reduce the online threat in an company or a organisation. So for that We have a saperate security team to handle it. People will consider it as a IT security human problem.

So whenever there is a security breeze in the company or in a organisation they secure things with help of security team. So most of the people will relie on the secuity team.

But humans makes estimated resolution and they were not as perfect as to make judgements so they make mistakes.

Generally most of the poeple will work multi-tasking in the company. So in that time if users got a pop up about the security alert 90% chances are they ignore it.

Even in the webpages most people will dismiss the warning dialog coming from different sites. Because they dont have time to study the alerts.

Here the users focus is all on the work they are doing so the most of the security alerts are been ignored.

So in order to share knowledge about securing our systems and PC's we must conduct a class or a study regarding the security and we must pay attention to people who take of the security alerts or any kind of malware pop up message.

If we gain knowledge on securing our computers we can secure our data and we can have good performance while working on our systems.
