a. When we Wave the card infront of card reader the information sent between card and card reader are , card no , expiry date, cvv and the name of the card holder.
b. Maximum amount we can pay is depends on the country . In india it is 2000 Rs for transaction . In UK it is 30 Euros for transaction like that.
c. Maximum amount of transactions is depending on the country and the card reader machine used . In india it is 5 transactions daily.
d. Yes, in some countries this technology is just started. To pay using smartphone we need to get that enable using special SIM or by using tag attached to the mobile given by bank.
e. Nothing will happen if we have multiple contactless cards in wallet. Payment will be done only when we wave the card from the distance of about 2 Centimeters to 10 Centimeters. Even accidentally we take 2 cards towards the card reader It will which card it need to be use.
When our contact less card is stolen and we report the same to the bank the bank people will immediatly block the operation of the card and then they will raise for the new card if you want again.
