Your organization is planning to expand business operations to your neighboring state by opening an office. As a result of this expansion, your organization needs to make sure that the best and brightest employees are recruited to fill key roles at the new office. Write the steps involved in recruiting the staff at the new office:

1) The student researched the legal statues affecting the selection and hiring of employees.

2) The student identified the number and type of positions that need to be filled at the new office. Moreover, the student discussed qualifications, e.g., education level and number of years of experience, associated with each position.

3) The student researched, evaluated and chose several selection devices such as interviews or ability tests to reject or accept applicants. Moreover, the student assessed the weaknesses and strengths of these selection devices.

For the expansion purpose of the business, the legal formalities are to be done with proper care before the recruitment procedure is being done. The legal procedure like taking permissions from state governments to roll out the business with acquiring trade license is quite desirable. To start hiring the process major rules for employee ethics and standards are to be taken care of because in new states there are several laws of recruitment and some of the HR policies might be new as per laws which are to be focused during the final set up of the business and then to start recruitment procedure.

Employee selections are needed to be done with proper care considering the requirements and best fit to the positions. As per the qualifications, experiences, and needs of the organization, the correct designators place should be filled up. Like for setting a new office the prime important role that needs to be recruited an HR with good experience and must have a good sense of HR policies and must carry the knowledge of the law. Then the HR along with the company owner should decide to hire a project manager as per the vacant role available at that time. In this way gradually new freshers are recruited to increase the work efficiency of the organization so that it can bring a good turn over.

The research on the recruitment of the candidates is very necessary to be done to understand their true intention and willingness for work i.e. how much they are willing to work for? Several selection procedures like taking various subjective tests for knowing their skill and potential for that particular role is quite necessary. As this will become the future workforce of the company so it is necessary to choose the best among all. All candidates will also need to sit for a psychometric test which will show their act of thinking of difficult situations and will give an idea to the organization about their present state of mind of doing work. These processes will help the organization to select the better employees in the organization
