Objective Identify the elements in software Requirements Specification document Estimated Time: 40 minutes The output of requirement analysis place is the Soltware requirements Specificaticn it should specify what a system shoald do. Atypical SRS usually comsists of the system overiew (both current and proposed). Objectives of the proposed system such that it is peoven to be significant development over the existing system, business analysis of the client functional and non-functional requirement, glossary, etc. Problem Description (6 points) Article Systems (AS), a giant books franchise has approached IT company ABCLtd. To belp them automate their business processes and shift them online so all of its outlets across the globe would be under one portal. AMC Ltd.agrees to take on the project and both the companies sit down and strike a deal. After detailed discussion and analysis, ABC Lad. decides to follows the waterfall model for development of the project. This discussion covered topics such as the business analysis and operations of AS. The expectations of the cliem (AS) from ABC Lad. their needs and requirements from the software, their current existing system including its limitations and what the proposed system would do to address these issues. Taking into accoant all the input, the concerned team at ABC designed and developed the SRS Which of the following are typically expected to be found in the SRS created by ABC Ltd Towards the AS Project? Put an X mark in the second column of Table 2 for those SRS elements that will be included in the SRS document then explain why you have selected these elements in table 3. Ans: Software requirement specification is the representation of sortware system this include functional non functional part. Softwre requirement specifiction established contract between Customer and the Firm.
Following elements are expected to be found In SRS created by ABC Ltd towards the AS project:-
1.System Overview
System in one of the most important part of SRS the requirement of the document is to collect the information, data. The requirement of the SRS is to provide the overview of the software.
2.Class Diagram
Class diagram is one of the important method used to create interconnection between different classes one of the major requiremet of the project.
3.Source Code
Another important part of this project is the source code. Source code is the collection of instruction, written in such programming language in which huam can read and understand.
4.Use Cases
A use case is the process in system which is used to organise system requirement it work as interface between system and user.
5.Flow chart for algorithm realizing the functionality of the system
Flow chart is one of the most important part of the project.Flow chart is the step by step representation of the algorithm and shows how the process work. Each step in this executed diagramatically. Steps are connected by lines that's why it become easy to understand the strategy of the programm which are going to be execute in future.
6.Code review comments
Code review is also very important.Code review helps programmer to cross check the issues and it also used to improve the quality of the software. Code review also ensure that the code which the programmer doing meets the requirement.
7.Test Result
Test result or testing is the process of testing the programm by executing the programm this is important because the whole thing which we did like makes flow chart, class diagram, source code, etc now its time to check result. The main reason behind testing is just to find errors.
8.Non-fuctional requirements
Non functional requirement impose restriction on the design. some of the parts of the Non-Functional requirement are as follows:-
a).Capacity
b).Availability
c).Reliability
d).Quality Standard
