Explanation / Answer
I do agree that when it comes to negotiating for the pay, the women are usually at the receiving end of the injustice in most of the Organizations, contrary to their otherwise ability of good negotiation skills. According to Forbes, it has been found that when the Women represented the senior management, the Organization had been able to earn higher returns on their investments. Women also hold a unique quality of negotiations and convincing as compared to the men. Hence, in the sector such PR, which is ever demanding on the part of the clients, it is always beneficial to place the PR Women professional at the negotiations' end to strike a deal with the clients in the most optimum way. However, in spite of such a dynamic potential that women posses, they have to keep justifying themselves and their caliber to the HR team while applying for a new job or for the pay hikes that economically, they can bring more returns to the Organization, using their unique skills in the most desired way that could only help the Organization realize its goals in a faster and efficient way. Marriage responsibilities, maternity break, other household responsibilities, only goes into proving that women are relatively more versatile in handling multi-dimensional activities and hence penalizing them on this context only reflects the narrow mindset of the society that cannot tolerate the success of women in the Organization.
