What is a good topic I should use with a lot of information for a reflection paper of brand participation as an individual and community?

Assignment Details:

Some of us are Apple people, not Microsoft PC people. Some of us are Nike people. Some of us are Netflix people, but not Hulu. How we participate with brands – and the communication channels and technologies that we use to interact with them – can have impact on how we perceive ourselves, others, and how we interpret our experiences with material things.

What brands do you participate in? How do you participate with them? What about the communication experience between brands and you makes you attracted to them? How does it influence your interactions with other people who share that experience and those who do not share it.

Explanation / Answer

The brands that I participate in include Uber, Amazon Prime and Dropbox. Uber takes care of all my daily commuting needs while amazon prime is my lifesaver when it comes to ordering all my groceries, supplies and Dropbox helps me collaborate seamlessly with my colleagues spread across the globe.

The communication experience surrounding all the three brands is very friendly, inviting and an underlying promise of not letting you down with the products on offer. It has helped me on numerous occasions with regards to breaking the ice and help in striking up a conversation with complete strangers. More often than not, I find myself selling these brands as I am totally taken in by the value proposition that they have to offer.
