Explanation / Answer

Patent intent to protect a product or process invention. Th policy gives the monopoly to inventor to exploit benefit of his invention. The reason for the same is people spent lots of money and time in making that breakthrough, so government thought that inventor should get time to monetise his invention

Copyright intend to protect artwork, music, software and any intellectual drawing. This policy ensures that if someone is using that intellectual property they should take the permission of creator or give the credit where it is being used.

Trademark used to protect the brand name of companies good and services. The purpose is to avoid the selling of duplicate on behalf of well-known brand and also help in reducing the fraudulent behaviour in the market.

Yes patenting a sport move should be allowed by court, because I believe it’s an art which has been developed by sport person for practicing many years. While some put a lot of hard work in innovating new skills, others just learn and use to win the game. Therefore, person who innovate the process should get the patent for at least some years.

No a play cannot be patented. Play is something which requires the participation by another team also. If you patent the play then participation will lose its value and no other except the patent holder will play that game.

No, Coach acts as agent of imparting knowledge to others. His work cannot be patented. Something that can used for the greater good of people should be easily available to everyone.

No till now no such patent granted for any sport move. This is matter of contention among many parties.
