Can anyone help me in starting to answer this question or pointme to a resource that will? I have no idea where to begin.

For example, if the main theme of your project is to design alogin page for a website, there will be various modules involved inthat. Like, Home page design, authentication of users, etc.

For the purpose of authentication, you need to verify theentries and hence you need a database. To design the database, youmay use SQL. And, for the home page design, you may use HTML or ASPor any other tool. For implementing various functions you maydevelop the code using VB.NET or C#.NET or some other tool.
