Animal slaughtering is a crime but doing that before their natural death is a sin. By such act, it shows the brutality of human beings. It seems like they have lost humanity. For reducing the cost of pork and its products, this barbaric act is intolerable. The new innovative ideas of keeping the sows in small stalls in which the pigs are bred after 67 days and after they deliver they are again sent for breeding in another cycle just to increase the number of piglets and then they are slaughtered after three years. In order to improve the productivity of the Premium standard, they are following this method. When pigs are kept in such small stalls, the health, diet, optimum age of breeding, feeding procedures and the entire system can be imagined. This stressful life of pigs behind the cage bars with cannibalism without giving painkillers is pathetic. The selling of hogs has become a big business in which animals are slaughtered only for profit. The federal laws also remain silent with the brutality in which pigs are moved with the help of electric prods or narcosis. The improper stunning results in the live hot bath by which the skin and hairs are removed. The government should stop this confinement system of slaughtering as it is unethical. Obviously, the slaughterhouses would give their reasoning, but the fact is completely different. As per the laws, animal welfare is also the priority. Although stunning is legal but improper stunning is illegal and killing in a consciousness state of the animals is illegal.
