I ve installed windows 7 starter in my pc. I installed JDK_6U19_WINDOWS-I586.EXE file by downloading it from the sun's website and set the environment variable i.e. Path to c:program filejavajdk1.6.0_19in. Now the problem is, when i write a java program and compile it from CMD prompt, it compiles successfully. But on running, it gives an exception in Thread main. java.lang.NoclassfoundError. It is not because of my error. I m sure. because the same program runs on my other pc where windows xp is installed. Problem is somewhere in path setting. Kindly can someone tell me if there is something different regarding windows7 for path setting.
