ABC restaurant is a fast-casual restaurant. The restaurant aims at serving fast, healthy and fresh vegetables and meat. The first outlet will be located at Oregon and it is named as Oregon Inc., with Loretta Williams as the President of the company.
Industry analysis- Market size, customer analysis and competitor analysis
The market size is huge. There is never a day when people avoid fresh food. Since the people of Oregon always are health conscious, the customer base will be growing every day.
Competitors provide tasty fast foods however they lack in providing healthy options like grilled meat, diet milk shakes, fascinating coffee shakes with rich milk etc.
Marketing strategy – Market segmentation, target marketing, and marketing mix.
The market is divided into two market segments namely families and single population. Families usually occupy the majority of the dinner times while the lunch time business is because of the single office goers.
The restaurant aims at operating within the fast-casual niche of the restaurant industry.
The marketing mix which is used by the restaurant are product (healthy and fresh fast food casuals), price (economical pricing), place (located at the heart of the city easy to access) and promotion ( TV commercials and reaching out to the corporate near each store).
Management team- Operation plan, organization chart, and HR plan)
The management aims at opening a new store every 12 months. The organization chart has the hierarchy executives-supervisor-store manager-regional head-Vice President-President.
HR plan includes recruiting experienced professionals in cooking and supervising. Recruiting appropriate number for the required vacancy should be planned. Bonus and incentives should be provided for the employees as motivation.
Financial analysis and feasibility- start up costs, sales projections. (ratio analysis, pro-forma financial statements, and feasibility study if needed)
Start up cost- The initial start up cost would be approximately $200,000.
Sales strategy- The sales strategy is to convert first time customers into a long term customers. Techniques like offers, discounts and punch cards can be used. Also a happy customer will always become a loyal customer. Hence the store should aim at satisfying the customer.
Sales projections- Sales will be modest during the first few months however there will be gradual growth in the upcoming months. As per the operational plan, the second store is to be opened after 12 months of completion of the first store. There will be profitability after the first 4 years.
