We need to better our community to improve the environment in order for future generations to survive. Audience The audience of this letter is residents, construction sites, trucks with uncovered loads, all of which contribute to the unacceptable amount of trash littered throughout the peighbourhood. People should take ownership and change the behavior of littering. What do they care about and do we want to do them all or just 1 Desired Outcome The desired outcome of this letter is spreading an idea to people that littering is out of control. It not only pollutes our public place and does harm to our health, but also the negative effects can be permanent and harm the next generation. People should realize that it is the time to take responsibility and stop littering to protect environment. Content The letter will include personal experiences and testimonies relating to the amount of litter strewn throughout the community Example: When I leave my apartment building, I am immediately greeted by trash spread all over the entryway even though there are trash cans just around the corner and in our homes. Everyone would agree littering is unacceptable behavior, but this level of laziness is an issue that must be fixed The letter may also contain directives to correct some of the larger sources of litter in the neighborhood. Audience-people contributing to such environmental degradation include residents, construction sites and trucks with uncovered loads that should take ownership of such behaviour and change their behaviour.
Desired outcome-it is to generate awareness in the minds of people about the possible consequences of littering for our present generation in the form of pollution and health hazards as well as for future generations.
Content-the letter will include people’s personal experience of facing such litter near their houses and possible solutions to such problems given by the residents itself.
