If you are in favor of such a program, from a policy perspective, do you believe all states should universally participate in this type of program? If you agree with this statement state why or why not.
There are a few things that should disqualify you from these benefits. 1. If you lost your job/got fired, 2. The individual quit the position, 3. The employee is still getting paid in one way or another. If someone falls under these rules, then I believe that there shouldn't be any special benefits given to this person.

Having this system in place will help bridge the gap in an appropriate manner and not help people take advantage of the system. Most state unemployment departments will always consider part-time work when they determine part-time benefits. In the end, I believe that it is up to the states and the regulations that they have. If employers cut back your hours back on purpose, I believe that someone should receive partial benefits that can help lead individuals to a new position within the industry, but still lights a fire under them that can press them to find a job earlier then later. It's all about cost and if companies can afford the special benefits that are required, then I believe that morally it should be allowed.

Personally, I believe that people that work part-time should not receive unemployment benefits. Unemployment benefits are meant to bridge the gap between an income gap caused by a loss of employment due to no fault of their own. There are some people that work part-time, either move from job to job very quickly or are looking to take advantage of the system if there were benefits that were given to the unemployed. Eligible workers need to meet state requirements for minimum earnings during the base period and minimum time of work. Generally, you must have worked for at least a year prior to filing for benefits.

Government make the policies so that people under the purview of it get benefited to it but in some cases facilities provided by the government are misused in a way to get falsely benefited out of these policies.
1. In my opinion I do agree with the policies meant for the needy because it is necessary to fulfill, needs of living person and without financial support one cannot do the same. In today's scenario job security is a biggest issue in a private sector. Government has taken an initiative to cope up with unemployment issues which may develop during the people working. Therefore I support such initiatives and policies.
2. Worksharing program is actually and unemployment insurance program that allows benefits to employees and payment incase working hours and wages are reduced by the employer to avoid layoff kind of situation which would have developed due to less production or less demand or any other reduction of services and conditions that caused the employer to go for an alternative and avoid layoffs. In my opinion worksharing program are good because there are many advantages of these programs like employees can be retained by the company till the time business conditions get to improve. It also minimises layoffs and by which way employees get benefited.
3. Definitely I believe that employees who are working part time should get benefited to search programs because if they are working and their working hours are reduced due to less production demand all services reduced by the employer to cope up with layoff kind of situation. Person who are working part time are actually the people who wants to work and earn money by putting hard work instead of persons who are unemployed and getting benefited by the use of unemployment benefits.
