Question

I'd like to see a properly working version of this problem from my text book to prepare for a test.

Below is a table of foods and the calories for that food item..
Menu Item Calories
Spinach 23
Sweet Potato 160
Yogurt 230
Whole Wheat Bread 65
Brown Rice 178
Tuna in water 575
Lobster 405

Write a program using 7 checkboxes, a generic button, and a textbox in an html form. The 7 checkboxes will be labeled Spinach, Sweet Potato, Yogurt, Whole Wheat Bread, Brown Rice, Tuna in water, and Lobster. None of the checkboxes should be checked by default, and all checkboxes should have the same name. You should also include a Reset button to clear the form.

The user of the program should be able to click one or several of the checkboxes. Then when the generic button is clicked, the total calories for the all the items selected will be displayed in the textbox. To get full credit, you must use a loop and use array notation (that is, an array of checkboxes) to determine which boxes were checked and add up the total calorie count. If no checkboxes were selected when the user clicks the button, display 0 calories in the textbox.
