Question

Take 30 minutes daily for a week before your interview and imagine yourself going through the entire interview experience. Close your eyes and see yourself driving to the interview. You are the model of professional dress and personal power. You are calm and have been preparing for this meeting fora long time. You are obviously better prepared than any other candidate for this job. You are in the office now, shaking hands with the interviewer. You are smiling, happy to be there. Your handshake confirms your confident, open approach to the world. The interviewer likes you and wants you to do well. You answer questions thoughtfully, taking whatever time you need to feel comfortable. Your interviewer thinks your answers are excellent. You are poised and comfortable and ask questions that impress the interviewer. Your interviewer closes the session, expressing regret that there isn't more time to explore your views on the position and the company. You are also disappointed that there isn't more time to share your thoughts but are pleased to have had the chance to meet your interviewer regardless of the outcome. You leave the interview and return home to send an email that reinforces the ideas discussed in the interview and expresses appreciation for the opportunity to meet the interviewer.
