old tech corporation has 10 computers in its main office area, which is networked i a star topology using 10mbps ethernet hubs, and wants to add five computers in the manufacturing area. one problem with the existing network is data output. large files are transferred across the network regularly, and the transfers take quite a while. in addition when two or more computers are transferring large files, the network becomes unbearably slow for users. adding the manufacturing computers will only make this problem worse and result in another problem. because the ceiling is more than 30ft high, theres no easy way to run cables to computers, and providing a secure pathway for cables in next to impossible.devise a solution to this company's networking problems. as part of your solution, answer the following questions:

1. what changes in equipment are required to bring this company's network up to date to solve the shared- bandwidth probmlem?

Changes that can be made are:

·         Some of the 10 mbps Ethernet hubs are to be replaced with some higher speed Ethernet hubs such as 100 mbps. It improves the bandwidth and the speed of the file transfer will be raised.

·         Hubs can be replaced with high speed Ethernets or some routers which can speed up the network rather than the hubs

·         Also the star topology can be replaced with a mesh topology or a ring topology which allows each system to have full access speed.

·         By upgrading the network hubs, the speed can be improved.

·         Also large files those are used frequently can be stored at a place so as to avoid frequent transfer of those files.
