Question
A and B species are competiting species predating on prey species C. Species C has a logistic growth. Species B has unlimited predation.
Construct the mathematical model that fits this model. For every species’ rate of change equation, explain carefully the idea of every term in the right hand side of the equation (be careful about coefficients signs, as these determine if a model is going to behave as predator-prey, competition, symbiosis or some more involved mix of these).
Test your model in Simulink simulation: Select some numerical coefficients and initial conditions, explain the results and comment critically if the simulated model behavior agrees with your initial verbal description (It should! If it doesn’t, it means that something is wrong in the mathematical model that you constructed).
NOTE: EQUATION IS KEY FOR ME! Matlab program is a bonus
