The event was well received last year and has received a lot of press. The University is excited by the press and since most of the labor and items are donated this is a large fund raiser for their operations.

This morning you were notified by your assistant that the web registration did not automatically close as expected which led to 8,000 paid registrations being processed and confirmed. The capacity of the Convention Center is 7,000 given the arrangements for the trade show, theater seating, and break-out session rooms.

1:Facility management is a key aspect for all event management. In this particular case due to mistake from technical side additional 1,000 members are registered for the function .So total there is a high chance to come more people than the capacity of the auditorium. One way to manage is to utilise the time effectively and organise the members and split them to different activities like expo, talks ,brak out session etc. Meals for additional people needs to be arranged based on the turn up or attendance of people. Utilise every space available effectively to manage the members .This through effective communication co ordination it can be hosted properly.

2: Happiness is all about satisfaction.Thus addressing their concern properly through active volunteering co ordination is very important.organise the things properly through simulation and proper training and development.

Unknown guest count can be managed via proper utilisation management. Anticipate the numbers proper and arrange things with contingency planning. Plug in arrangements can be done parallely to equip the system by accommodating more people.
