Project initiation - Project initiation is the most critical subdivision in a project. It is a well-documented process which shows the foundation pillars of any given project. This helps us to know the basic principles of the project why and how it is initiated. This subdivision includes Goals of the project, its scope, scope constraints, stakeholders, risks, controls and sign-offs. If this is not included in the project scope management then the basic parameters mentioned above would not be known and the project would go haywire. The proper planning required for the project is done with help of this process if it not done then problems may arise as the project progresses.
Scope definition - Project Scope is the work needs to be completed for delivering the product or service with respect to its outcomes with the mentioned features and operations.
