Answer: People inside the organizations come from diverse backgrounds. The culture and the social background of a person directly impacts on the beliefs, attitudes and the behaviours of that person. The difference in values and belief system brings differences in the approach of a person towards ethics. There are different perspectives on ethics and each culture has its own perspective. Some cultures consider that the result determines whether the action is ethical or not while some others consider the moral values described in their religions as a parameter to determine an ethical action. All these cultures and ethical approaches differ from one another in many aspects. As people belong to the different cultures hence their attitude towards ethical behavior also differs. Similarly the role inside the company also is responsible for the difference in attitudes of the individuals towards ethics. Each role has a different type of duty to perform and hence heir ethical stance depends on the role which they have to play inside the organization.
