What would you do in a situation such as this: You are a manager. You have a hardworking employee, but his/her communications skills is poor. Your company is inconstant contact with customers, and all forms of communication, e.g. letters, telephone, e-mail, etc. need to be at a professional level.How would you advise your employee?

Answer: In this case I will call the employee and will communicate directly with him about the communication related issue which he faces. I will counsel the employee and attempt to explain him the reasons why he should make an effort to improve his communication. I will explain him about the advantages of effective communication and the importance of it in the organization. I will explain to him that why for his future development in the organization, he needs to improve his communication. I will motivate him by giving the examples about how in the past some employees have improved their communication skills and advanced inside the organization. The goal of the company in raising the communication standard is to provide good customer service. The regular quality communication with the customers can help the organizations to develop loyalty in the customers. I will advice the employee to improve his writing skills by developing professionalism in his written communication, improving communication by clear, relevant and concise communication and learning about the business drafting skills.
