Robert J. House (Path Goal Model) and Hersey-Blanchard (Situational Leadership Model) were two renowned scholars who have contributed great understanding on situational leadership. 4-a-Leader is a person who leads the group or a group of person where as leadership is the manner and style which leader adopted while leading the group.Leader is a term associated with an individual where as leadership is associated with a group.A person cannot lead himself and called as leadership.Leader is a person who implement the personal agenda which anorganization entrusted upon where as leadership is a process which is interaction between the leader and the followers.Leaders initiate a change and they are called as change agent which get it done by adopting best method through analysing own personal atrributes and how the group will perceive it, where as leadership is defined by result.It is not always true that a person having standard leadership qualities always succeed in getting result.
