Enterprise database technology along with a web database is suitable for a small clothing company.It can have a website created by using php or my sql then we can store the datab about the customers on the database. we can mix the databses and use a relational web database to store information in tables which can be updated using queries using sql queries.

we can have two seperate databases -one for the inventory and one for the customers.The inventory database will hold details like supplier name,supplier number ,location etc. while the customer databse will include the name of customer,address,items ordered,items of each price etc.These two databases can be managed simultaneously in a web portal format by using a website(a form of web database) with a my sql database or php. and then we can access both of them simultaneously. With the help of contact suppliers can contact and as well as a customer. we can create two different buttons for the them on the homepage. The best technology that can be used is IBM DB2.It provides very fast online transactions and help customers to chose items and checkout and pay their bills.this is the best in the case of online shopping of clothes for a small company.

The company must use softwares including SSL (secure socket layer)to help the transactions of payment to be done secretly .It may also use a firewall to help protect the customers..The wbste should be bult using the latest features and tell customers to install java on their computers to access the website.This is for the payments.

For the order tracking it just needs web database and as soon as user requests something,the database for the customer must be updated linking to payment gateway.it can be using sql queries .Antisoftwares must be installed to protect the company databse from the external intuders as it can harm all the information of customers and can cause huge business losses.

2)Information can be retrieved using sql queries and can be updated easily.

3)Person purchasing cost can be calculated in seconds and within seconds the web databse can perform the transactions using ssl to help the person purchase things on time.

cons:

1) Asingle database if it fails everything can be lost no backup.

2) A single point of failure can cause whole databse to be damaged.

3)If ssl is not used ,unauthorised people can access databse and misuse funds.

4) hackers can hack the databse and misuse all the information and money associated with the website.It can cause losses to business to a very great extent.

It is better to keep a backup and migrate data on another system so that if one databse fails a backup is there to to keep track of all customer details along with very important information.

For Improving benefits and sales:

1. Update the customer data regularly and provide fastest supply to the orders of customers by linking to various banks and providing netbanking associated to the web databse.

2.Give discounts on goods and send immediate receipts to the customers as soon as payment is recieved by automatically updating the databse after a given order is processed.

3.Keep a back up of data in order to gain access to information a databse fail.

4/.Use the concept of data warehousing where data can be stored in different places so that if one is lost another can be used and functions can continue.

5.Promote the website online and implement the databse using my sql,Ibm,
