It is very common for project on a tight budget to plan and execute as little testing as possible. During project execution phases, the assumption is always that the working process shows no faults or problems, so testing is not required. But for the success of the project, this approach towards testing requirement is devastating to the project’s success if technical problems are found later during implementation. Project owners perceive the Testing as an extra cost, but the reality is that the relative cost of testing is small compared with the cost to go back and rework.
