Employee turnover rate= (number of employees previous period- number of employees current period)/ average number of total employees during current period
For e.g.
In February the average employee count is 47. In March, it is 50. This means that 3 employee have joined in March. Out of the 50 employees working in march 3 are new entries.
Employee turnover rate= (47-50)/50 = -6%
In March the average number is 50. In April it decreases to 49. This means that one employee has left in the month April ( between 1-30 of April)
Employee turnover rate= (50-49)/49= 2%
