The Tri-City Medical center has a revenue of $9,678 which is reported per adj. patient day. By contrast, Palomar health has a revenue of $7,970 (reported per adj. patient per day). The in-patient reimbursement rates for all payers at Palomar are 24.2% as compared to Tri-City which is 22.3%. Palomar hospital is making money but Tri-City Medical Center is losing money every quarter. Palomar Health specializes in bariatric surgery whereas Tri-City is good at cancer treatment. Tri-City is also good for heart surgery and care. The adjusted patient days at Palomar are 40,837 whereas at Tri-City it is 27,619.
