Explanation / Answer

Plastic cups and mugs are basically formed by a process called thermal forming of polystyrene sheets. The plastic sheets (polystyrene sheets) are heated to the formable temperature and then bend into shapes which constitute items used in household such mugs and cups. It is understood that these formed from thermal forming as these don’t have any joints on the surface and are made of a single piece of plastic sheet by thermal forming them.
