The latest issue that the family addressed was the decision of buying a new home which is 20km away from the existing home. The family was acting as a group but then all had the common purpose of deciding on this issue and they started working together like a team.
Yes it was quite effective to reach the decision of buying the new home which is 10km away from the existing home rather than 20km away home, various pros and cons were taken care of before finalizing this effective final decision.
My father took the role of the leader, he analyzed the whole situation, listened to everybody’s opinion, weighed various plus and minus and then the entire family under the guidance of my father took the final decisions which was mutually agreed by every member in the family.
Although the decision was taken but still some improvement regarding the communication should be taken care of next time such as instinctive decisions should be avoided, the younger member in the family should try and understand the view point of the older generation, at times it was felt that one member was getting dominant which should be avoided and a collective informed decision should be taken always.
