This couldn't be further from the truth” (p. 37).
Discuss what you believe the meaning of this statement is. Why might leaders provide information about their activities and decision making, even when employees may not be directly affected? Do you support this notion? Explain why or why not.
Explanation / Answer
I totally support and with the notion that a leader should discuss before taking major decisions for the company. It will helpful for the organization to sustain its growth effectively. Some decision-making process can be a threat to the organization and the working employees will need to face the issue for that wrong decision as because the analysis may have the uncertainties which will create a negative impact on the side of the company.
I believe in the statement because the major part of the organization is depending on the workforce and the employees are given the responsibility to do the business effectively. They are the front end facer and the leaders only declare based on some analysis. The employees who are daily working meets with many pros and con that are highly beneficial for taking the advantage of them. They will give an extra addition to implement the new structure in a better way and making positive decisions for the company will sustain a long-term business. But if the ideas are not shared then the problem may not directly come to the employees but still, the consequences may come in the working process as they are the front-ender. So to avoid this condition it is necessary to talk with the employees, sharing the analysis done and then to decide for taking new implementation for the company which may be most helpful for sustaining long-term growth achievements.
