Explanation / Answer
6: Interviewing Groups is more difficult to schedule than individual interviews: YES
Because group interviews are :
· More difficult to operate effectively .
· More difficult to build relationships with individuals.
· More employees are required to pull off.
· We need panel of interviewers so that no one in group end up missing.
Group interview taking place of personal interview should be about an hour, and a minimum minimum 45 minutes.
Where as individual interviews are:
· Easy to operate effectively.
· Easy to build rapport with individuals.
· Body language of the individual could be noticed easily.
· More flexible with location(formal or informal).
7: Problems with the existing system can be identified while we are collecting data: YES
Valid and reliable data is the backbone of program analysis, however collecting this data is a step in the maximum process of measuring results. 4 steps in data collection:
· Create and implement a data collection plan (discussed in this lesson).
· Analyze the data.
· Communicate the results.
Data collection is the critical step in project management .It should be done very effectively to build perfect project . this step can explain the whole model conceptually and can also explain the errors can occur in the system. It can be seen as a conceptual prototype of the project.
8: Process modeling used to utilize information gathered during requirement determination: NO
Software process model represent a networked sequence of tasks, objects, transformations , events include planning for accomplishing software evolution. These models used to develop more precise description of software lifecycle model. Software process networks can be viewed as representing multiple interconnected task chain.
Work-series can be involved in the movement of object-oriented software design. The following actions:
1) Build/create an informal specification of the system.
2) find the objects and their attributes.
3) find the operations on the objects.
4)find the interfaces between objects, attributes, or operations.
5) Implement the operations.
9: Gantt charts are used to show how data can flow between the system functions : NO
Gantt charts, which are commonly used for project management, are one of the most popular and useful ways to display activities (tasks or events) displayed over time. Each activity is represented by a bar; the position and length of the bar reflect the start date, duration, and end date of the activity. This allows you to see at a glance:
· What are the different activities.
· When each activity starts and when its end.
· How long each activity is expected to last.
· Where the activity overlaps with other activities, and how much.
· The start and end date of the entire project
10: Observing workers is not from the Traditional Methods for Determining Requirement :
NO , Observing workers is from the Traditional Methods for Determining Requirement.
The traditional methods of collecting system requirements are:
· Interviews with individuals based on current system operations and issues, and system requirements in future organizational activities.
· Facing people with different needs to conduct interviews to find synergy and comparison between system requirements - the core of JAD.
· Observe Workers at specific times to understand how data is processed and the information people need to complete their work.
· Study business documents to discover reported issues, policies, rules, and directions, as well as specific examples of the use of data and information in the organization.
11: Open-ended questions is not preferred in interviews: No
I assume that this is for Technical interview. The problem with open-ended questions is that there is no correct answer. There are many choices/choices. It gives you an opportunity to show your design skills. If you can come up with practical problems to accomplish something, how will you solve them. Need to determine the scope of the problem, need to trigger demand, and then try to propose ways to meet each demand within the scope of the problem. These question gives you room to explain your abilities which stands you out from the crowd.
12. The Entity Can be a person, place, object, event or concept in the user environment about which data is to be maintained: YES
An entity can be a real-world object. It can be easily identified whether it is alive or inanimate. For example, in the school database, students, teachers, classes, and courses can be considered entities. All these entities have some attributes or attributes that can provide them with identities.
