Desktop maintains an active list of more than 100 books, each identified by a universal code called an ISBN number. Answer is as follows :

We have the ERD about Desktop Text Publication which stores the data about various books, it's customers and its locations such as Warehouse and Headquarters and also keeps the record of sales office which are manage by Sales manager and sales repersentives are in the headquarters.

So,

Here First of all Books is the entity whcih has properties like ISBN treated as primary key,Publisher Year, Cost of book and no of pages. There are multiple copies of same book. So we can create here two tables of Books.

The Customer is buying books from Desktop Text Publication. The Publication store the Category number, Address and phone number of the customer where each customer is identified by category number. Multiple customers can purchase multiple books from Publisher at various locations. They can be purchase from sales houses or headquarters.

The Sales Houses are the location where the various stores for Desktop Publishers are open. Publishers records the Sales Office number treated as primary key and location of the sales office. Every sales office has various sale managers and various sales only one sale repersentive that is issued by headrquaters.

Sales managers are responsible for sale of Desktop Publishers at various stores. One manager can by work only for one store but store has multiple managers. Publisher stores the Sales manager Id , name and phone number of Sales manager where Sales Manager id is treated as primary key.

The Headquarters and warehouse tables store the location of them. There can be only record for both. because there is only one headquarter and only one data warehouse.

Sales Repersentives are worked at headquarters to maintain and repersent the sales of various books. System can record Sales repersntive id , name and phone number for sales repersentives and sales repersentives if is treated as primary key. Headquarter has multiple sales repersentives but one sales repersntive works only for one headquarters or say desktop publishers. they can't work anywhere else
