Answer: A help desk is the workstation to which people approach for information or resolving queries. Therefore, people handling helpdesk must be equipped with different types of information which customers may be willing to ask. It is not humanly possible to remember all information and convey the same to customers. The persons handling help-desk must have sophisticated computing technology along with user-friendly applications to search and retrieve information to resolve queries of customers. Therefore, no help-desk can function well without getting integrated with IT. So, help-desk is completely It related.
