In an HR services complaint handling and conflict management plays a vital role. Any issues when it comes to the people will be handeled by the HR team. Employees are allowed to go to the HR with any issue and HR will ensure that, employee issues are heard, review the issue, discuss with the employee’s management and appropriate solutions are provided.
Also all the managers and top management will be gathered together and present the slides with all the HR policies which are created. In consent with the top management all the HR policies will be shared and trained to rest of the employee in organization. Also a questionnaire will be prepared to take survey from all employees to ensure that employees are satisfied with the service provided and share the results with top management.
Harassment and discrimination is also vital in any organization. HR will have to properly outline the policies for harassment and tips to be provided on the discrimination policies. The same needs to be discussed with the managers as well as the employees. Also very frequently mailers will be rolled out on the harassment policy which could possibly reduce the percentage of harassment.
Flexible working arrangements (FWA) policy will be prepared by the HR. However FWA is always critical since it has to be aligned with the operations. There are team’s in an organization which may not be suitable for FWA. Hence seeking managers consent while preparing the FWA policy is very much important. Most likely working mothers would like to go for FWA hence it is very important to make the FWA becomes critical. HR will also conduct sessions, Floor games, quizzes to promote diversity at workplace. Before all the sessions HR will have a discussion with the managers seek approval from management to conduct sessions. Also HR’s will asses the women employees treatment and how they are taken care specially with pregnant women since it becomes utmost important for companies also to understand the needs for women employees. Also to maintain the dignity of women employees policies will be brought so that they cannot be harmed. HR will also asses the facilities which are provided to specially skilled employees. The basic needs like providing the wheel chair, having a special rest room, making sure that all the floor, all the work stations, and the special chairs are to be available. The most of the important thing is there would be no religious discrimination. It would be assessed by making sure that check’s will be done based on the meeting with employees. Also reports will be pulled and the defaulters will be identified to ensure that the same issues are not repeated. Complaints are quite common. However it can be reduced by frequent feedback with default employees and it can also help in reducing the percentage of complaints.
