Question
Overall Rating: ,( If I were a mid-size tech company with a new product to launch I would enter new markets country by country preferably starting with a country that it considered a big influence. The reason for this is not always will a product be received or needed in every country depending on the customer base. There also may be some flaws to be worked out and if released world wide all at once it can be more difficult to recall the product than ifit were just in a selecet few. If the product does well and the word starts to get around it could create more of a demand whih could help the product sell better.Explanation / Answer
Now the point here is of launching the product in new markets but it is true that it may not always be possible to enter the market as per target market. There are other factors as well to be considered while entering the market base. One of that is to enter into acountry that has big market influence. You enter in that country set up a base and then expand to other countries. Now this is feasible because the countries that are influential gives the product a good kick start. Customers tend to get the feeling that if a product was successful and liked in so an so country then definitely there must be something relying and qualitative about it.
Now if the product is launched worlwide at once and god forbid there comes a situation then it might be very difficult to withdraw the product and the cost of withdrawing, the time taken will all increase exponentially. The best way is to take bit by bit and launch the product in different countries one by one.
And there is no denying in the fact that once the product is launched and successful the demand for the product will increase then the company can further expand the business and the enter new markets and new countries to set up its base and attack on th target customers and yearn huge profits.
