In all of our lifetimes we may not again witness an event like Flight 1549 that can from many perspectives be recognized as a miracle, if you believe in them. A plane crash with no lives lost. A plane with both engines taken out by a flight of birds and within 3-5 minutes later is in the Hudson River. Was this a miracle? Or, was it one of the best examples of using training, experience, leadership, crisis management and teamwork that you will ever witness? The Flight 1549 which is also popularly called as Miracle on the Hudson cannot be called as a miracle in total.If we analyse the incident which led to ditching of the airbus into Hudson river and the work done by the crew of the flight to achieved zero casualty is a classic case of training,experience , leadership,crisis management and teamwork.It was happened due to training because the pilot and crew members so the courage of what they learn in their training.It is a classic case of crisis management because the pilot had to take a decision instantly after they knew about the glitches ad what they decided to ditch the flight into the tidal river was a perfect case.When flight ditch in Hudson river rest of the work of crisis management and team work shown by the crew members by evacuating all the boarded 150 passengers safely.
