Although the project closure deals with the current or past performance of the project the project closure is also concerned with evaluation of the culture of the organization and support of te projects. The cproject closure helps in learning the best fit for the project, total portfolio of the project, the priorities of the project, team work and team performance in the most effective way. The review of the project closure engages aa the factors which are important for the project and managing future needs of the projects and other projects. The project clousre phase is the last phase of the porject life cycle and the project gets closed and reporting the overall success of the project to the sponsor is generally done. Project closure deals with andling the deliveries to customers, passing documentations , cancelling contracts of suppliers, paying and releasing team members of project and equipment, and informing stakeholders for project closure. When the project is closed the post implementation review is done for determining the success of the project and identifying the lessons learned.
The performance measurement control system is the technique which is used in organizations for controlling and monitoring perfrmnace and the result of the operations of a project in business. The proformnace management control system is designed for guiding managers to make decisions correctly in business strategy framing fro the project. There are different key principles of the performance management control system like every activity must be quatified and if any activity is not measured the processes needs to be improved. Every quantified work shoudl have the prior determined outcome in relation to performance. The performance measurement control system is designed to improve performance in organizations and when every activities have improved performance, the organization’s profitability can improve.
A post project review is an important aspect of the project management system in which there is scope of adding the continuous techniques and mechanisms of improvement. The continuous improvement methods helps in attaining success and meet the expectations of the project sponsor and the clients. Post project reviews typically involve the team members of the and important stakeholders who meets together and reviews the project to find out at what degree the project is successful to meet its objectives and goals. If any changes is required then in the review stage there is documentations of the required changes and the need for timely action to be taken notified. The project review process helps the participants to make the right decisions and plans in the right manner so that the next project in the future is better and have no or less errors.
